Summary

We continue in our verse by verse teaching through the book of 2 Corinthians on Wednesday nights with Pastor Gino Geraci.

Paul’s prayers and concerns and commitments were bearing fruit in Corinth.
You will remember that some in the Corinthian Church were critical of Paul’s ministry and disobedient to the Holy Spirit; but now Paul urges them to be reconciled to him. Paul expressed his concerns over the trials he went through as he waited for Titus in Ephesus; now Paul explains how God comforted Paul and gave him joy. Paul was comforted over the arrival of Titus (vv. 1-6) and over the Corinthians repentance and obedience (vv.7-12); Paul was also comforted over their reception of Titus (vv.13-16).
